JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK

The Corbett National park was established in 1936 and extends over 1300 sqkm of forest placed in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the midst of lush greenery and uneven mountains with varying heights, ranging from about 1300 feet to nearly 4000 feet.

Once the favorite hunting ground of nobility now the major attraction of wild life enthusiasts. The Park is renowned for the majestic Tigers, leopards and elephants, also the home for more than 25 species of reptiles, 585 kinds of birds and over 50 varieties of mammal species.

Aahana Corbett Wilderness

An eco friendly resort spread over 13 acres of the area adjoining Bijrani Zone of the park. The resort has been beautifully landscaped with indigenous trees and plants attracting lots of birds around.
The Victorian style of residential blocks offering beautifully designed luxurious accommodation with the options of large suites and family rooms. One can enjoy great views of the park from the rooms only.
The multi cuisine restaurant offering both local and international cuisines including Mediterranean and Oriental. Most of the vegetables and herbs used are either from the inhousekithen garden or directly purchased from local farmers.
The deck of swimming pool offers good opportunities of sightings of Wild Elephants, Jackals and Deer etc.
The resort also has Spa, Ayurveda and yoga centre.

Jim’s Jungle Retreat

The retreat that celebrates the shikari turned fierce conservationist is set close to the southern forests of Corbett, spread on 15 acres with a seasonal river that comes alive in the monsoons. The land features large open spaces and water bodies and a prolific growth of native shrubs and trees that are an open invitation for birds to nest and also wildlife like deer and wild boars. Jim's Jungle Retreat combines luxury with a concept that borrows as much from the forest bungalows as it does from the enduring architectural legacy of the local villages along with swimming pool and a Spa.
